I haven’t uploaded anything in a while so I thought I’d upload a few life drawings from earlier in the week. I can feel my drawings improving, my drawing is becoming faster and more accurate, I think it’s time to start working bigger.

40 minute drawing, trying to get a better feel for tone, using a subtler contrast between shadows.
Quick Ipad Painting
Decided to do a quick painting over my under painting using procreate for ipad, just using some simple block colours, to use as reference if I paint the piece.
Experiments with colour, form and line
A collection of works, that moved away from the traditional way in which I work. I used the shape of the coloured section to strengthen the composition, in order to give an harmonious feel to the pieces. I think the shapes frame the drawings nicely in the centre of the image, which are from life nicely, whilst somehow giving them a power that is intriguing.
